This child sounds like my son, who is now 27 years old! Back then, I was not an LC yet, and there was not as much knowledge about breastfeeding "out there". Looking back, I believe there were 2 factors in his fussiness. One is, I believe he also had allergies. He has a lot of allergies now, and even then he had rashes and green, loose stools all the time, and was colicky. His pediatrician just said he would grow out of it. He also has ADHD, which I wonder how much of his behaviour even as a baby was caused by this. It seems as though his colic just turned into his personality. Nothing calmed him except a swing, for 6 hours every evening, if I remember correctly, and once you go through something like that, you never forget!!! I too, would probably at least try the allergy elimination diet:(Milk products, eggs, fish, seafood, nuts, citrus, soy, wheat) Unfortunately, I did not know enough about it at the time, but sure wish I would have been able to try
 that.
