Frenula can heal and scar, posterior tt's are more likely to have this 
issue and require a revision. Some of the leading docs (members of the 
International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals) are now 
instructing moms to gently lift the tongue 5-8 times a day for a week or 
so after the frenotomy, and this has been greatly reducing the scarring.
