Hi everyone,

There is a mother here who has managed to express and freeze a large quantity of colostrum and transitional milk (about 32 oz) during the first 6 days after birth. She is wondering if there are specific guidelines regarding the time she has for using this colostrum and transitional milk. Is it different from mature milk? She will be returning to work when her baby will be 6 months and she would like to know if she'll be able to use that milk. I haven't find any information specific to the storing of colostrum and transitional milk and was wondering if this has been studied.
