Becky,

I have not seen the Act itself, but I will see if I can pull it today. I
suspect, however, that a patient can waive their right by signing their name
and if this is the case, I would expect that one of the many admission
documents a patient signs has exactly that kind of waiver language. Does
anyone have any experience with this in the hospital or doctor's office
setting?

It occurs to me that under this act,
