We keep pumps on trolleys. An equipment RID can be used to help monitor them. Still, we have had patients take them home (but that was before RID's).

Subject: Securing breastpumps in hospital rooms

We are looking to secure a breastpump in each postpartum room on our unit.

Does anyone do this currently?

If so, how do you secure it to the wall, etc? Do you use any specific product to do so?

Please email me at [log in to unmask] with your responses.
