Actually this should be called "Gabrielle Palmer and Dr. Lawrence Gartner's
program," but Marsha's title is shorter. ;-)

Anyone who missed the show may order a CD. Here's the scoop:

KVMR received a HUGE number of requests for CDs for the April BF show.
Everyone who remembered to send in a donation was very generous, and that
helps KVMR continue to produce these programs.

However, because KVMR sent the CD first, many forgot to send in a donation.
Since I'm strictly a volunteer and have no financial interest whatsoever,
I've decided it would be OK for me to ask everyone to send in a donation
directly to the station, and with that donation ask for a copy of BF CD #2,
July 9 show. (Or BF CD #1, Apr 23 show, or both.)

I am going to suggest a $10 donation. Most who donated for the first CD
actually made larger donations, but I don't want anyone to feel they cannot
afford to ask for a CD. Anyone who can't afford the $10 should feel free to
make the donation smaller. It's your call.

No matter what size of donation, KVMR will send out a CD to every requester
as long as it is financially possible for KVMR to do so. This is a
commitment from this listener-supported, non-commercial, non-government
community radio station.

If you are fortunate enough to have more financial resources and wish to
support more distribution, please feel free to indicate this when you
communicate with KVMR.

I want to make sure that no one is excluded from hearing this message
because of inability to pay, but I also want to make sure that KVMR
continues to be supported in its community work. Let's support the
messenger, for making the message possible.

You may send your request and donation online, or by mail to:

KVMR Attn:Development
401 Spring St
Nevada City CA 95959

Thanks to everyone for their kind emails to me and to the station. Your
comments help me to keep this issue in front of the public.

Look for another show on August 20. And let's get those PSAs on the air!

Yours,

Arly Helm, MS, IBCLC
Volunteer broadcaster, KVMR-FM community radio
