I went to the web page for that sleep video someone had asked about. I
had never heard about it and was curious. One of the "selling features"
stated is that this video can have babies sleeping 10-11 hours straight
through at night before they are 2 months old. Is that a good idea?
Shouldn't they be getting up at least 1-2 times within an 11 hour period
to BF? They do address this on the web-site but it doesn't sound safe
to me, definatly not at < 2 mo. of age! Just my opinion. Am I incorrect
about this?

When my kids were < 2 mo. they fed (and usually quite well) every 2
hours during the day and almost as frequently at night. And if they
slept for more than a 4-5 hour stretch (which was rare) not only would I
get uncomfortably full (and have to get up and pump) but I would lie
awake (if at night) and worry if they were OK since they should be
waking to BF. I would end up checking on them countless times till they
woke so I could feed them or I'd feed them anyway instead of having to
pump.
