I have a unique situation and would like some quick ideas. I am supporting
a mother who is going through a custody case trying to move from an urban
area to a rural area, about an hour and a half away. Her ex-husband is
fighting her on the move and asking for partial custody, he already has
visitation and mom is very cooperative with that. He is pulling out all the
stops and is claiming that she is not a good mother because she nursed her
now 11yo dd until dd was 4yo. She is going to court later this week and
wants some quick sound-byte type responses for the court questions. She
realizes that she will only have limited responses available and wants to
sound calm and educated. She is anticipating the question "Why did you
nurse your daughter until she was four?". There could be more questions.
If you have any ideas as to quick, succinct responses that would work well
in court, please respond to me privately and the list. [log in to unmask]
There is a time factor so quick responses are greatly appreciated.
