I'm way behind on email here, and I've been catching up on the thread about whether Baby Friendly hospitals can give out emergency formula on a limited basis, which led me to wonder whether a BFH can SELL a small amount of formula to tide the baby over until the parents can buy some.  At hospital mark up costs?  Might that be like how a bottle of aspirin costs $3.00 at the drug store, but a single aspirin costs $35 when you're checked in?  No one would want it.  AND the hospital would still have to record lot number, etc, in case there's a recall.  
 
 
And I totally agree about breastfeeding covers.  I hate them, but have come to view them as something that some women feel they need, otherwise they wouldn't breastfeed at all.   Like that rich uncle that you hate, but he always pays when your broke family goes out...?  No?
