Hello all! I just saw the tape of Montel, and it was not as bad as I
remembered. I was so surprised to see a smile on my face throughout all of
it, because that was not how I felt - AND the best news is that he cut out
much of the negative discussions that I was so worried about, including
another 'discussion' at the end when he announced that mothers could lose
their children for extended breastfeeding - that it was against the law in
two states - I jumped in as usual and argued with him about it and he cut
all of that out!!!  It is obvious that they made efforts to help the show
be more positive - I am very glad for that, although I still do not like
the way they portrayed Nancy and her children - as if they were in jeopardy
of losing their kids (in the promo before the show started).  The entire
tone of the show was much more positive than it was to be there. I am very
relieved.

I still encourage everyone to write him - but maybe it should be more along
the lines of applauding him on the positive things that he said - such as
at the end, and sharing your views about breastfeeding. Let him know that
there are plenty of people out there that do know about breastfeeding, and
support this important lifestyle choice.
