I liked Teresa's 4.5 year old daughter reminding grandma about working moms
being able to pump!

When either of my two daughers (ages 5 and 2.5) feeds her own special doll,
she hikes up her shirt to nurse it. But when the older one feeds her
sister's doll she rummages through the toy dishes and teacups to find a
bottle -- "because I'm the babysitter; her Ima pumped milk for her before she
went to work and I took it out of the freezer."

A side note -- at least one psychological / developmental test my kids have
taken, intended for toddlers, includes as part of its kit a baby doll and a
bottle, to go with the instruction, "The baby is hungry, can you feed the
baby?" I gave the tester what for, you can believe me. Anyone know whether
there is any way to have inpact on the folks who design these tests? Kids
with potential developmental trouble need to live in a culture that presumes
lack of bf even less than the rest of us, and the same test could presumably
be done with a spoon...
