Reminds me of when my daughter was weaning her very verbal daughter.  They
talked about it a lot (mom's idea), how weaning would happen when Kelly was
2 etc, etc.  About 2 weeks before THE birthday they started to plan a
party.  Kelly then announced "I don't want a birthday!"  It was very
touching that this not quite 2 yo had enough sense to figure out that
birthday meant no more "milkies."  PS her mom caught on and forgot about
