Pamela,
My first thought is that keflex might not be the best antibiotic for a
resistant case. It could be MRSA especially since mom is a healthcare
professional. Can the breast, nipple, milk be cultured? Also have they
treated for long enough period of time. You would have to look up the
latest facts and figures on proper treatment.
My second thought is castor oil compresses. I've never tried but
several posts are in our archives from Jennifer Tow I believe?? She
reports excellent results.
