When posting about practices that may impact on breastfeeding, please
remember to tie your post to the topic for Lactnet.  Specifically, we do not
want the list to be occupied with a discussion about the merits of various
forms of intervention or observation in labor *except as it affects
breastfeeding*.  There are other fora for that.  
I'm going nomail today, for the rest of the week, to attend the annual
conference put on by the Norwegian Society for Perinatal Medicine, whose
membership is predominantly midwives and NICU nurses, but with lots of
Ob/gyns and neonatologists too.  I mention this lest anyone think I am
unmindful of the connection between breastfeeding and everything else in the
world - but for Lactnet purposes, you have to connect the dots in your
posts!
