Well, everyone - again I must let you know how much it has meant to me to
get the sweet cards from so many of you since my cancer surgery last month -
it brings tears to my eyes (good tears, mind you) to read them. I really
appreciate the time you have taken to show your concern, and it helps me to
keep the faith.

I have been having a rough time balancing the darn pain medication and
nausea and vomiting. I seem to get sick on just about everything, and still
have not figured it out. Two weekends in a row I have spent most of the time
being and feeling sick - if any of you have ideas for someone who seems to
be intolerant of just about every pain medicine because of the vomiting, let
me know.

I have learned more about my cancer, and am shocked to learn that I have
been walking around with cancer for probably close to ten years. That means
into plenty of doctor's offices for physicals, getting a clean slate, with
no idea at all. Puts a different perspective on it, and I cannot help but
wonder what is wrong with the system that this could happen. How could I
have been so sick for so long - and with no symptoms - lots of energy, even
gaining lots of weight - geez - I would never have guessed.

Maybe there is nothing we can do about such problems until there is better
detection. Maybe if it had been a different type of cancer, it would have
been detected. All I know is this goes back to my breastfeeding days, and
when I was eating so healthy you wouldn't believe it. I'm still in shock...

Note that I am doing much better and am handling breastfeeding legal matters
again - so if something comes up, don't hesitate to get in touch with me -
especially the family law ones - so much is happening out there with the
push for 50% time, we all need to help. (Email - [log in to unmask] or phone

Love to all of you,
