Yes, it can be cured, but it can recur if the steroid is withdrawn 
suddenly (it should be tapered). Her dermatologist will know this as he 
or she has correctly identified the problem. Encourage her to follow the 
doctor's instructions, breastfeeding moms can be conflicted about using 
medication, and can sometimes stop before treatment is complete.

It is a systemic issue, which is why it is appearing wherever there is 
skin trauma.
