A little background on myself. I taught cbe for 15 years along with being a
L&D nurse and postpartum nurse. I breastfed my 16 and 13 year old for 9
months.
I would mention bf in the cbe class but would offer a 2 hour bf class.
Feedback I recieved from some of the participants was to cut the discussion
on benefits because they were already aware and wanted more time on going
back to work.
The guest editorial article in the March 1996 JHL by Diane Wiessinger may be
what all of us should refer to. I really like her approach that bf is the
norm and anything else is not may be a refrshing approach. If you haven't
had the opportunity to read this please get a hold of this issue it is well
worth it.
