Darrlyn wrote about transitioning babies from bottle to breast a few weeks
ago, and mentioned an interesting idea of placing a nipple shield over the
bottle teat.
I was wondering if anyone had tried this idea in reverse-for the mother who
wishes to wean and finds her baby won't accept the bottle.
What if the mother started using a nipple shield on her breast to get the
baby accustomed to the more rigid plastic feel, and then gradually started
introducing the bottle? Has anyone heard of any success with this idea?

Thanks,
Meg Kingsley
