Hi!  My name is Chris  Betzold.  I am a Master's prepared family nurse
practitioner working in Newport Beach, California.  Last year I took a CLE
course offered by UCLA and I can say that my eyes have been opened.  I work
with a group of  8 physicians, 1 P.A. and another NP.  Three of  the doctors
I work with  do OB and we all see pedes.  Many of my co-workers are
interested and supportive of my new role.  It has been great to see the
progress they are making in re-thinking their understanding of what
breastfeeding is all about (i.e. opening their eyes).  There is hope for
breastfeeding moms.    I am the mother of two wonderful breastfed boys,
Andrew and Nick.
