I received a call from a client that states she is at a conference in
Wyoming (lives in East Texas) and woke up to feed her baby at 5:00 this a.m.
and noted a significant decrease in milk supply; baby was fussy and pulling
off the breast- tried to express milk for him and obtained less than an
ounce total volume compared to 6-8 oz she normally expresses; she has had
rest, fluids, and on no meds; she wondered if the change in altitude could
have caused this sudden loss of supply; I have never heard of this...any
ideas?
