In my experience it can take weeks for a bleb to heal, and it may never look 
the same as it once did again.  It seems they scar down in a white circle 
with a dark visible opening to the nipple pore.  Once it is patent and not 
tender I tell them not to worry about it.  If no longer tender, can stop the 
ointment.
