My retired co-Leader and best friend Lynn Wickberg MD - who went from
post C/S nurse to home VBAC mom to child psychiatrist! - has been asking
every parent on her intakes what these troubled children were like as
babies. She now has four years worth of info -- guess I need to light a
fire under her to get going on looking at those results! Think I'll
forward some of our recent posts to her...I will tell you that she says
a very significant percentage of these troubled kids were also very
difficult babies. (Certainly many of them were also born into troubled
homes -)
