Does anyone know of a website that contains growth charts for BF vs. ABM fed babies, and points out the differences (if any) between them? Also, article references to studies of proper/normal growth would be helpful. My Child Nutrition class has to read a book that is (in my opinion) somewhat out-dated and the author is citing studies from the 70's and 80's (from Gerber) and using growth charts for ABM babies to prove her points ... overall the book doesn't seem bad, but I believe it is misleading to use this study info. Also, one of the studies is from 1937 when formula was made from condensed milk with Vit. C added! (Gesell, A., and Ilg, F.L.: Feeding Behavior of Infants. Philadelphia: J.B. Lipincott, 1937) Isn't Gesell the researcher who scared baby Albert with the rabbit and loud noises to see if you could make a baby fear something cute he hadn't feared before?!?!?!? The book we are reading is "How to Get Your Kid to Eat ... But Not Too Much" by Ellyn Satter (she also references herself in almost every chapter). Any opinions?

Thanks in advance ... very busy studying for Clinical Nutrition exam also, so I am off-mail, if you could also respond privately it would be appreciated!
