For Sue Wright, who asked for the name of a book on breastfeeding
multiples, mentioned by twin men on a Sally Raphael show:

I did not see the show, but from your description, the men would be
identical twins Louis and Donald Keith, long active in research and care of
multiple birth families. Donald is an engineer. Louis is an obstetrician
in Chicago, associated with Northwestern Medical School. Together they
founded the Center for the Study of Multiple Birth in Chicago in 1977.
Along with others they have edited the 1995 book, Multiple Pregnancy:
Epidemiology, Gestation and Perinatal Outcome. It is published by
Parthenon. It is 696 pages and is favorably reviewed in the Feb. 15, 1996
issue of the New England Journal of Medicine on p. 476. I know I can't
mention price here, but the book is too expensive for the ordinary
lactation consultant to buy a personal copy. Look for it in medical school
libraries, perhaps. The review notes the "compelling photographs of twins"
and the "helpful hints regarding breast-feeding multiple infants." I
believe the book is most intended for obstetricians dealing with multiple
pregnancies. I have not seen the book myself.
