Theoretically, which scenario is better?:

Mother feeds baby breastmilk for 6 months, then switches to formula for the
next 6 months...

-or-

Mother combines breastmilk and formula for a year, freezing/storing extra
expressed breastmilk pumped during the first 6 months for use during the
latter 6 months?
