I am *not* a pharmacology expert, but  happen to have just reread the
recent JHL article on antidepressant use and wondered why we don't hear
more about this drug.

According to Hatzopoulos FK & Albrecht LM: Antidepressant Use During
Breastfeeding.  J. Hum Lact 12(20:139, 1996, fluvoxamine (Luvox) has a
short half-life, low milk:plasma ratio and, in their words, "has the
potential to be the safest antidepressant."

I would be interested to hear what others think about this drug.
