Hello, all.
I have been too busy for words (literally, which why I haven't posted to
LACTNET in 6 months) since I started the generic nurse practitioner program
at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in September but now that the
semester is over, I am off to Nicaragua for two weeks to visit my sister.
Is there anyone I should say hi to in Managua? Is there anyone who needs
some LC-ish stuff down there? I might have a little extra room in one of my
suitcases on the way down and will definitely have plenty of room on the
way back.
I would love to visit a hospital while I am there, particularly because of
my interest in transcultural nursing. And there is that master's thesis
thing hanging over my head.......If I could help the Nicaraguan LCs in any
way, I would be thrilled. I will probably be returning there on and off for
the next three years.
Could anyone who replies also send me a personal e-mail, since I may not be
able to read all of the LACTNET postings in the next three days before I
leave?
Merry Christmas to everybody on LACTNET.
