To add to the discussion of vitamin D and the need for
supplementation................

I live in sunny hot Texas and have spent the majority of my life in outdoor
activities...............but I have osteoporosis (dx at age 43) and am
currently taking prescription strength vitamin D, as my levels were too low,
even tho I have been taking calcium supplements with vitamin D, and consume
lots of yogurt and chz and nuts. So......... who knows what is going on!
Yes..... as another subscriber suggested....get your vitamin D levels
checked next time you go to the doctor for your physical! Its not just the
babies needing it!
