Hi Barbara,
Cephalexin is a cephalosporin (this is a category of antibiotics).
If no improvement after 48 hours, I would be thinking of sending a specimen 
of milk for culture (?unusual organism, ??MRSA) and /or admitting to 
hospital for IV antibiotics.
