Hi, all,

On April 5 Beth Williams wrote:

Not everybody has abundant opportunities, at least as far as logistics and money
availability go. I moved from Atlanta last summer, where there was always
something going on from a variety of sources (including ILCA last summer), to
Huntingdon TN which is right in the middle of nowhere, halfway between Nashville
and Memphis. I'm sure there are some things going on within driving range, but I
will have to work harder to find out about them and then get to them. And,
unfortunately, the amount of business I do here is miniscule compared to Atlanta
so funding of my conference "habit" is more difficult.

I guess I have mixed feelings about getting CEU credit for Lactnet. It is not
why I joined and will not be why I stay, but at the same time, as others have
said, I've learned more in a month here than at many of the conferences I have
been to. I don't know how I would prove it though, and I suppose that is at the
heart of the matter.

There is a lot to be said for knowledge for knowledge's sake, isn't there? And
what a wealth of knowledge is being shared here! I love it!
