I, too, am enjoying this thread. My dh is a photo store owner. He
mostly does processing and is currently getting into digital imaging with
the help of his artistic wife ;-) and son. He does also sell a few
cameras but mark up is so poor and some frames but it is difficult to
compete with stores like Christmas tree shops that give away their
products. He sees many new moms and dads and is always promoting
breastfeeding. He is a great guy and a very hard worker. It was not in
our plans, when we had children, for me to decide to stay home but he
was and is extremely supportive even though the burden of financial
support rests in his lap and on his shoulders and often weighs pretty
heavy. He has an amazingly open mind (most of the time) and has become
familar with homeopathy and homeschooling as he let me do the research
and educate him as these things became important in our lives. He has
had lots of tolerance for all my LLL materials, meetings and conferences
over the years (15) and supported my efforts to become IBCLC. He has
really allowed me to grow as a mother, woman and professional. All in
all a terrific hubby and dad!

Warmly, Ilene Fabisch, Brockton, MA
