Subject: does breastfeeding reduce breast size?
I had an interesting question from a pregnant client that I told her I
would ask here and get some feedback.
Mom is fairly petite, 5'4", about 120 pounds pre-pregnant. She is 38
weeks pregnant. Her breast size was a D before pregnancy - has gone up
two sizes now to F. When her milk comes in, of course, she....snip>

I have done a fair amount of research on this and have found nothing to
be scientific, although in my "on hand" research, I have found that all
of my friends that have nursed for at least the first 6 months- found a
decrease in breast size when they weaned there children. I have nursed
for 5 years, and while pregnant (4 months ago) my milk decreased, and my
children did not wish to nurse any more- I sadly went from a C cup to an
A cup.
I have only met one person in real life that did not loose breast size
after her child weaned.
If you find any scientific data on this I would be interested in seeing
it.
