I don’t normally toot my own horn on LACTNET, however I do want to let you
all know about the 20/20 piece on extended nursing that I was interviewed
for. I was fairly pleased with my segment. With the exception of the
psychologist who obviously didn’t know squat about breastfeeding, I thought
the rest of it went well!

I am including the link to the transcript of the show on the 20/20 website
and interestingly enough, it is different than the TV show…it is all about
me and my family with more of the actual interview that I gave. The TV show
had clips and info from other sources (the British mum for example) and not
as much of the interview that I gave to Deborah Roberts.

Anyway, I thought it was good for a TV program and I hope it maybe changed a
few minds out there!!! If any of you want to post a comment to the ABC
website I’d appreciate the positive feedback…

Ps-thanks to Janice Reynolds for posting the original link for the show
yesterday...

Blessings,
