This is not from any professional experience but from personal. My 2nd child
weaned himself in the first trimester of my 3rd pregnancy, which I
understand can be a fairly common time to wean, if the child is ready. My
3rd child breastfed almost until the end of my 4th pregnancy, albeit
infrequently, again self-weaning.  ALL my babies were "late" as they like to
stay in until they are good and ready & nice & big so premature labour was
never a factor for me.
