Accorrding to my new edition of Hale's (great resource, much easier to
read then previous books, I think) Accutane is listed as a L5. It poses
too many risks to use in the lactating mother. Differin is a L3,
moderately safe. Accutane is a strong oral dose of vitamin A for severe
acne, differin is a topical dose of vit. A. Tretinoin is safe topically
but not recomended if it is taken orally.
Hope this helps.
