Im on a facebook group where lots of mothers were discussing this. Their reasoning for doing so was that they were pregnant but still had a nursling so were looking for ways to keep their supply up to keep the nursling interested while progressing further into pregnancy. The ones who piped up and said they had tried it all thought it worked very well for them.
