Ringworm is easy to treat. 'Resistant' ringworm implies that it is not ringworm. The doctor needs to do a simple KOH of a skin scraping to determine if it has fungal elements. IT is probably just eczema or another form of dermatitis, which is why it is not resolving with antifungals.
