I received this bottle in the mail yesterday. Was cleaning and testing
an returned Ameda Elite so I put the bottle filled with water on the
pump using the 23 mm flange inserts. I got no flow out of the tip (the
little holes) but it was dripping out of the side vents on the bottom of
the nipple by the ring/holder. The bottle nipple teat was pulling with
the suction just like a human nipple does so I feel like I had a good
seal and I could see the suction. I tried 100 mbars and also cranked it
up to maximum (200 mbars). I also tried a Gerber wide (triangular shaped
bottle) and got it to flow pretty fast on the pump. The second nature
comes with a syringe to demonstrate the nipple tip but with the syringe
one pushes out the liquid and with a baby, he sucks out the liquid -- so
I don't think this is the best or most accurate demonstration of how it
works. Except you can see the liquid gush out the many holes on the
syringe thing. I am curious to see a real baby use this bottle.
