Anedoctal for me is that I lost weight with both my pregnancies, extremely
so with the second one, but gained it back rapidly when I was breastfeeding.
I assume that it was my hormonal response to pregnancy, my thyroid also was
quite out of whack when I was pregnant, couldn't get glasses to see with and
my old ones weren't good at all.  That also returned to normal when I wasn't
pregnant.
