     I feel the same, but unfortunately the neo's don't.  Herbs are not
regulated like USDA drugs.  So you can't be sure of the strength or
variations from one container to the other.  There have been a couple of
cases where a baby experienced severe GI bleeding, and the docs have
speculated that the fenugreek that the mom was taking was the culprit.  

     My moms of healthy neonates use fenugreek all the time, but because of
the few isolated cases with a poor outcome and the fact that herbs are not
regulated like other meds., reglan is still the drug of choice for moms with
hospitalized neonates.

     My moms are also very fortunate to have a donor milk bank here in the
city.  Maybe that's why we don't feel the pressure to fight the neo's on
this.
