Jackie asked:  Does anyone know when these ads are absolutely, positively scheduled to begin their run? 

I emailed the NWHIC-National Women's Health Information Center to inquire about this (and to ask what an individual can do to be sure the articles are placed in my local newspapers and ads on the radio) just last week (8/21/03 to be exact).  Their response to me was as follows: 
 
Thank you for your interest in promoting breastfeeding!  Currently the
Breastfeeding Campaign has been pushed back, and we do not have any PSA's
or articles available for release.  You may want to contact your local WIC
Office to find out who they are collaborating efforts with in your area.

My initial thought was "I hope the campaign is not getting squelched by powers that don't want to see breastfeeding promoted".
