I have worked in several lactation settings: hospital, clinic and
private practice.  We have used the 3 calls rule.  On the 3rd call I
ususally say " Just calling again to see that all is going well. I don't
want you bug you.  I will leave it up to you to call me if you still
have issues."  I find moms who have been busy call back and appologize
saying they really were busy. Others just never call back.  Hope that
helps.
