Frustrations again...wanted to share with you all,  preach to the choir as
they say...
One of my oldest friends who still lives in our home town, 2 hours away in
another state had a baby about 3 weeks ago.  I, of course, encouraged bfdg
and gave her several mini classes:).  Luckily she had one of those babys who
would latch on perfectly within a 5 foot radius of her breast!  Here comes
the maddening part.  She went to doc on friday as still very sore in epis
area..infected,  they gave her an antbx and birth control pills and told
her...she cant bfd with the antbx so go ahead and start birth control
pills-double hormone kind- and just quit bfdg all together!  AHHH.  She
didn't call me till last noc-sunday, but I of course righted her path.  She
is not going to use the bcp at all for now.  We discussed LAM method and with
the infection who is thinking of sex anyway!  We put a possible low dose pill
on the backburner till she is going back to work.  I checked my Hale MMM and
the antbx is fine,  I just advised to fine tune timing of med.  I really
would like to inform doc how anitquated he/she is, but my friend feels bad
about overstepping their boundrary and calling me anyway.  Good thing, well
maybe it is, cost is a big factor for her and bfdg is obviously much cheaper
and since it has been so easy for her, she wants to continue.  I will press
on!!:)
