     Unfortunately mothers/parents are not interested in having a connected
relationship with their child...i think that often lc's attempt to "sell"
them on the benifits of breastfeeding for their infant for themselves, the
economy, the ecology and the hope is that once they try and succeed they will
begin to be converted to the form of parenting and attachment that we know
about...........

     it is a relationship that needs to grow and be nurtured, it is not
instantaneous ....
