     I hear youir very real concern regarding education in the feild of
lactation, your concern of turning the feild in to being too medical and
loosing the humanity involved in the proffession. On the other hand I see as
a Lactation course coordinator in Israel a very real and important role for
education. It all depends on what and how you teach! It is vital to include
in the curriculam, counselling skills and empowering skills. If it is done
correctly the student and the proffession can gain greatly from PROPER
education.
