The pharmacy nearest to me charges $25 for an ounce of the ointment. They
mix it up in batches and put it into 1 ounce containers. They get a lot of
calls for it.

I used to have another pharmacy mix it up one script at a time and they
charged much more. They were considering the loss of the tubes that they
were not going to be able to sell. But even this pharmacy charged only
$50. This was not a compounding pharmacy and they weren't used to
compounding prescriptions.

If you can find a compounding pharm. and can let them know that they will
get the business of your clients you may be able to get a better price
since they will be mixing for several vials.
