Pat, rather than being seen as the "height of incompetance", I think it is
the other reason, "retained placenta has nothing to do with milk supply
anyway".  They just simply don't know the significance of retained placenta
because they haven't had the education and experience that we have. It's
just not "important" to them. It's a little factoid that no one pays
