I also am on AOL and not infrequently get digests that have to be downloaded.
I am borderline computer illiterate, and my kids or husband must walk me
through accessing each and every downloaded message, no matter how carefully
I take notes. I usually just skip theses digests.......

When my first child was born and my house needed a new roof, we moved into my
mother's house for a few months (it hasn't rained for two months straight
like that since then). The room we slept in was big enough for just the bed-
we had to go into the hall to even to change our minds :-), But the bed was
conveniently pushed against three walls- my mother fretted that the room
wasn't big enough for a crib, but we didn't want one and showed her that we
didn't really need it- we pushed the dresser against the side of the bed that
wasn't against the wall, padded it with pillows for when the baby was asleep
in the bed by herself (a rare occurrance). Yes it was tight for us grownups
to get into, but we have fond memories of four generations of family laying
on the bed all squished together and talking since the room wasnt big enough
for anyone to sit anywhere else!
