I went through the same thing at my hospital a couple of months ago. I
finally wrote a policy that was actually approved by the Peds! I will send
you a copy if you'd like. It's based on "Supplementaion of Breastfeeding
Newborns: A Flow Chart for Decision Making" by Jacki Glover, BN, IBCLC, J
Hum Lact 11(2), 1995. I also patterned it after a policy someone on Lacnet
had sent me, but I'm sorry I can't remember who. Another good reference
