I hope this is ok to post here as I rarely post, but I just wanted to let ya'll know that I had my baby on 6/9. I got my milk within 36 hours and by 48hrs was pumping 3oz per pumping session. Now at 2 weeks postpartum I am pumping 5-6 times a day to relieve fullness THEN feeding my baby as she can get out the last feelings of fullness that my pump can't seem to drain. I am pumping about 30 oz a day as a result of this. So my long awaited point, does anyone know of anyone in the Seattle, Washington area that is looking for donated breastmilk. I donated to the Austin milk bank when we lived in Austin and am willing to show my prenatal blood work to anyone wanting/needing my breastmilk (to show them that I have no blood borne diseases).

I was going to donate to an adopted family, but the dad decided that he didn't want donated milk after all and I have alot of milk to spare. Please e-mail me personally if you know of someone needing milk. [log in to unmask] .

Heather
